A comprehensive eye exam is key to eye health and overall health. Optometrists are on the frontline of eye and vision care, providing two-thirds of the primary eye health care in the United States. They can also easily detect eye problems related to increased screen time, including digital eye strain, dryness, and fatigue. Optometrists can also diagnose severe health conditions, including diabetes, high blood pressure, autoimmune diseases, and cancers.
